1. Principal's News Week 3, Term 2 2018

Happy Birthday today as we celebrated the Solemnity of Pentecost, the day that the risen Christ fulfilled His promise and sent the new life of the Holy Spirit upon the Church and brought the Church to life. This birthday of the Church calls us to deep gratitude for the abiding presence and guidance of the Spirit in the Church. It is also a time to reflect deeply on the past and ask ourselves the questions, “What are the signs of the new life of the Spirit in my own life? What signs show that I am really living the life of the Spirit?”
Each of us today blessed ourselves with Holy Water and left a lit candle in front of the altar and Cross to celebrate Pentecost. 'Come and strengthen us Holy Spirit in sharing the Good News to everyone that we meet.'

2. Special Character Week 3, Term 2 2018

Faith Fact this week:-

Pope Francis Prayer intention for May

The all the faithful may fulfil their specific mission, by responding with creativity to the challenges that face the world today.

What Pope Francis tell us about the Ascension.  17th April 2013
Dear brothers and sisters, the Ascension does not point to Jesus’ absence, but tells us that he is alive in our midst in a new way. He is no longer in a specific place in the world as he was before the Ascension. He is now in the lordship of God, present in every space and time, close to each one of us. In our life we are never alone: we have this Advocate (Supporter) who awaits us, who defends us. We are never alone.

God Bless
Nicola Winders
