Enrolment Mass for the Sacramental Programme
Congratulations to the children who were enrolled for the 2015-2016 Sacramental Programme during the Sunday mass. Fr Wayne blessed them with their families during the mass and they met up with their Parish Prayer Partners during morning tea in the school hall afterwards. Thanks to Mrs Dooley, Adrienne and Mark Wylie and Mrs Marsh for coordinating this school and parish programme. Special thanks to Rose Wylie and her team of parent helpers, including Year 6 student Anika Robinson, for helping prepare and clean up in the kitchen. It is during such times, when the school, Parish and home come together that we can truly feel a sense of family in our wider community.

Student Blogger of the Week
Congratulations to Vannisah Ramu, Year 7 student who has shared photos of her success at the recent Highland Dance competitions. Here is the link to Vannisah's blog. You can also read and email to God about freewill, reflections on her learning goals and excellent research about becoming a vet.

Multicultural Day
We are looking forward to another Multicultural Day tomorrow after the success of this special day last year. The children have an opportunity to taste food from other cultures as well as participate in games, crafts and contribute to performances as we gain a greater understanding and respect for the diverse cultures that make up our school family. Thanks to Mrs Plieger for helping to coordinate this special day. Your gold coin donation will go towards purchasing a drumkit for our student multicultural worship band who will perform for us tomorrow.

School Photos

Our school photographer took two photos of the whole school in front of St Patrick's Basilica. This year we are offering you the chance to purchase one or both of these photos at a cost of $15.00 each.  If you wish to have them laminated, it will cost $18 each.  The orders for these photos have to be in by Tuesday 10th November or you can order them directly from Fotographix at a later date.  The other photo is of the children waving their hands.
Home and School
Thanks to our Home and School parents who meet each month and work and plan behind the scenes for our school fundraising events. It's important that everyone does their part to support the Home and School and even if you can't be on the committee, you can help by selling raffle tickets, baking cakes and attending planned events. Thanks to all of you who support the Home and School as they Reach for the Stars as Lifelong Learners in the Catholic Faith.
