This Sunday's gospel focuses on 'The Beatitudes'. Here is a little video clip that might help us to understand what 'The Beatitudes' are trying to teach us.

The Beatitudes are eight blessings recounted in the Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew. Each is a proverb-like proclamation, without narrative, "cryptic, precise, and full of meaning. Each one includes a topic that forms a major biblical theme".
Sunday 1st November is the Feast of 'All Saints'. It is also the enrollment Mass for the children entering the Sacramental Programme for 2015-2016. Children will have the opportunity to meet their Prayer Partners after the 9.30am Mass in the hall for morning tea. All families are asked to bring a plate to share. This can be left in the hall before Mass on Sunday. Thank you. 
The children will begin their preparation shortly to receive the 'Sacrament of Reconciliation' on Sunday 29th November 2015 (First Sunday of Advent) at the 9.30am Mass.
